Canon MP480 is one of the all-in-one inkjet photo printers. This Canon inkjet printer has three functions at once; as a printer, copier, and scanner.

Canon Pixma MP480 can be used for printing both documents and photographs, either color or black and white. This printer can print black-and-white documents A4 size with speed of 20ppm (as fast as 3.0 seconds per page), A4 color with a speed of 16ppm (as fast as 3.8 seconds per page).

Canon MP480 can print 4×6-inch photos without borders in about 45 seconds. This printer has a maximum print resolution of 4800 x 1200 dpi. With technology chromalife 100 + this printer can produce photos that can resist up to 300 years.

By using 2 inks units, Canon MP480 makes it easy enough to change the ink cartridge, because you simply just replace black or color ink which runs out. These inks consist of PG-210 Pigment Black, CL-211 tri-color (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow ). Also available high capacity ink cartridges, they are the Canon CL-211 XL and PGI-210 XL.

This printer is not equipped with duplex system, so you can not print the document back and forth. Automatic Sheet Feeder can handle papers up to100 pages.

Canon MP480 comes with direct photo printing capabilities, making it easier for you to print photos while the printer is not connected to a PC. These capabilities include mobile printing, PictBridge and memory card. With mobile printing capability lets you print photos from your digital camera or phone camera. And with equipped with 1.8 ” LCD make it easier for you to select the favorite photos you will print.

Canon MP480 compatible with the PC which is installed of operating system Windows ® 7, Windows Vista ®, Windows XP/200012, and Mac OS ® X v. 10.4.11 to 10.6.x12. This printer can be connected to a PC via hi-speed USB.
